Privacy summary
Draft. This summary is pending review by a lawyer before launch and may change.
This page explains in plain words what Verifyy keeps and what it does not. It describes the product as it is built today.
Messages and links you check
When you check a recruiter message or a job link, we keep a one way fingerprint (a hash) of what you checked, together with the result, so we can measure how well the checks work. The text itself is not kept, unless you tick the box that lets us keep a message to improve the scam check.
Outcomes you report
If you report what happened with an application (no reply, rejected, interviewed, offer, hired), we keep the outcome, the job link or company and title, and a random id your browser makes. That id is not your name or email.
If you paste a job email to report an outcome, we read it for the outcome and do not store the email. If you upload the positions file from your own LinkedIn data copy, we keep only the company, title and dates needed to match a tracked job. Verifyy never visits LinkedIn on your behalf.
The browser extension
The extension reads only the page you have open, and only when you click it or choose it from the right click menu. It does not read pages in the background and does not collect pages in bulk.
Recruiters and companies who get verified
To verify you, we keep your name, work email, company name and company domain, and the business registry match we found. Your trust link shows that your email and company were confirmed. Employers who connect a hiring system give a read only key, which we store encrypted and use only to learn which public posts led to a hire.
The waitlist
We keep your email, the country you give us if any, and whether you are a job seeker, recruiter or company. We use it only to tell you when Verifyy opens.
Job data
Verifyy reads public job feeds that companies publish on their own careers boards, plus public registries and domain records. We do not scrape LinkedIn or Indeed.
